Did you know you can update your membership profile on the Toastmasters International website? Just go to http://www.toastmasters.org/Members.aspx and log in. (If you have never logged in, the site will help you with that.)
Then click on "My Profile" in the black bar at the very top. You can change the usual things like username, password, contact information, name and address. You can also see your membership history: awards received, offices held, and so forth. A cool new feature of this part is that education awards earned after February 14, 2011 may be expanded to view supporting details.
Try it! Of course, if you change any of your profile information like a phone number or email address, be sure to notify the club as well. If you have any difficulty getting logged in, call the club's web guru Jodie Sanders who will be happy to step you through the process.

Calendar reminders
Our regular monthly business meeting is next week, Sept 21, immediately after the regular meeting.
The Area 12 Contest is Saturday, Sept 25, at Tarrant County Public Health, 1101 S Main St in Fort Worth. Afterburners is in charge of the refreshments. (We are good at anything to do with food.) If you are going to be involved as a helper or contestant, be there at 9:15 am, otherwise the contest starts at 10:00 am. If you want to help in any way, see or talk to Pat Quick. Come to have a good time, and to support Jodie and Mack, our club's representatives in Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation, respectively.
Remember that you can see all upcoming club events by checking the calendar on the Members home page on the website. Clicking on an event will open a small window where you can read more details about it.

Help for meeting roles now on the website
Are you feeling a little nervous about being Toastmaster or General Evaluator? Can't remember everything the Grammarian or Ah-Counter should be listening for?
It's hard to remember not to leave anything out. Go to the Club Roles page of the Afterburners website, and at the bottom of the page for your role, you will find a download link to a Word document that you can save to your computer. (If you have difficulty with this, call Jodie Sanders for assistance.)
Print it to study ahead of time, and bring to the meeting with you. Your fellow Toastmasters will be impressed with how well prepared you are.
Then give big thank-yous to Pat Quick for the Toastmaster and General Evaluator scripts, and to Benson for the Ah-Counter Tally and Grammarian's Log. We appreciate their efforts to help us have successful opportunities and smooth meetings!
