A good time was had by all on December 20 at the Afterburners Christmas party. In a switch from previous home based parties, we had this party at the Mi Cocina restaurant. In between bites of Mexican food, there was a gift exchange. The $10 dollar gifts were exchanged according to a script about the Right family read by Joyce King. Probably the funniest gift was the beagle that Will Higgins received. The dog's ears were so large and flapped so vigorously that it seemed that the beagle would fly like a helicopter any moment.
The gathering was capped off by a round robin Christmas story. Everyone there contributed to the story and thus had a chance to demonstrate their imagination and impromptu speaking skills.
